Laser Tag Technical Information and Modifications

MilesTag
Open source digital tag project. Operates on 40khz carrier. Not compatable with any other system, though the author is considering adding a WOW compatability mode. Schematics, source code, and hex files for sensors and guns. This is the recommended signal format for any new tag system.

FragTag
Tag system based on the MilesTag protocol but with a WOW compatability mode. No released sourcecode but has some information on gun shells. Check those out because they are very good looking. (Javascript required for page to work correctly)

LaserTag Technical Info
Information on the WOW waveform. Good source of info for someone who doesn't understand the basics of a tag signal. Also a circuit and code for a gun.

TagTek
More WOW information. Has a schematic, PCB design, and hex file for a TSOP based sensor. Also has some gun designs.

GNU-Tag
Atmel based WOW gun and sensor. Code hasn't been updated in quite a while so I think this project is probably dead.

SniperTag - Introduction
Real Lasertag (uses red lasers) so not recommended, but has some info on making a reciever circuit.

Lazer Tactical Action Game
Very active board. Not necessarily the best place for technical discussions, but there are definately some technically adapt people on here. (Including the maker of LTTO.)
